Job Purpose

To oversee and govern multiple truck body fabricators, ensuring cost competitiveness, technical and regulatory compliance, consistent quality, and timely delivery of body-built trucks aligned with OEM standards and UAE regulations, to support truck sales growth and overall business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate body builder quotations (specifications, pricing, lead time).
    Support Sales with costing, feasibility, and delivery commitments.
  • Govern approved body builders in line with OEM guidelines and UAE regulatory requirements.
    Ensure compliance to agreed specifications, standards, and commercial terms.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor production progress and readiness.
    Track delivery timelines and escalate delays or risks.
  • Perform quality inspections as per agreed specifications and quotations.
    Ensure rectification of deviations prior to vehicle delivery.
  • Review and coordinate chassis modification requests from body builder and customer with internal teams and OEM/Principal where required.
    Ensure technical feasibility, approval, and compliance.
  • Maintain quotations, approvals, inspection, and change records.
    Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
  • Develop and maintain price and product catalogues for each body builder.
  • Liaise with After Sales on new vehicle product quality concerns and coordinate resolution with OEM if required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in truck body fabrication or commercial vehicles dealership

Knowledge & Skills

  • Technical knowledge: Truck chassis, systems, and OEM body building guidelines.
  • Body fabrication expertise: Design, fabrication, and integration of truck bodies.
  • Regulatory understanding: UAE vehicle registration, approvals, and compliance processes.
  • Engineering solutions: Local, practical solutions for customer applications and operating conditions.
  • Problem-solving: Effective coordination with Sales, After Sales, and body builders
