Job Purpose

The Business Analyst in the Sales Department is responsible for analysing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance sales performance, forecast trends, and support decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
•    Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance.
•    Monitor and analysis Funnel KPIs and conversion rates to assess campaigns effectiveness and sales efficiencies. 
•    Act as window person for OEM for any forecast or actual reports or adhoc data needed. 
•    Liaise with Group IT and MIS on optimizing the reporting or system outputs for sales data. 
•    Create accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market conditions, and industry trends.
•    Collaborate with sales leadership to develop data-driven sales plans and targets.
•    Identify potential risks and opportunities to optimize sales strategies.
•    Work with the CRM team to enhance the use of customer data in sales strategies.
•    Track and report on market share and competitor performance metrics.
•    Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, including marketing, finance, and operations.
•    Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
•    Track the achievement of sales KPIs and targets, providing actionable insights for underperforming areas.
Monitor dealership performance and provide benchmarks against industry standards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in Business Analysis, Data Science, or Sales Analytics are a plus.

 

Experience:

  •  3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the automotive or retail sector.
  • Proven experience in sales data analysis, forecasting, and process improvement.
