Job Purpose
The Emiratisation Manager is responsible for leading and executing the organization's Emiratisation strategy, ensuring the active recruitment, development, and retention of Emirati talent across all levels of the company. This role involves collaborating with various departments, government entities, and stakeholders to create an inclusive and supportive work environment for Emiratis while aligning with the organization's business goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Emiratisation strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to set Emiratisation goals and targets, and regularly report progress to Chief Human Capital Officer.
- To deliver value by acting as a change agent in driving effective behaviours
- Create innovative recruitment strategies to attract Emirati talent for various roles within the organization.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure the effective sourcing and selection of Emirati candidates.
- Design and implement programs that support the professional growth and development of Emirati employees.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development teams to provide tailored training opportunities for Emiratis.
- Analyze the organization's workforce needs and identify areas where Emirati talent can be strategically integrated.
- Work with department heads to ensure Emirati employees are considered for internal promotions and career advancement opportunities.
- Build external relationships with key governing bodies, educational institutions and other organisations to influence policy and decision making as well as benchmark our internal efforts to support Emiratisation initiatives.
- Build the ARG's brand as an employer of choice for local talent through building strong and proactive relationships with relevant governing bodies across UAE.
- Participate in industry forums and events to share best practices and stay updated on Emiratisation trends.
- Provide guidance and support to Emirati employees to address their career aspirations, concerns, and professional development needs.
- Champion an inclusive and diverse work environment that values Emirati culture and contributions.
- Maintain accurate records of Emirati employees' progress and achievements.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and reporting requirements related to Emiratisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Emiratisation efforts into various HR and business initiatives.
- Communicate Emiratisation progress and initiatives to employees, leadership, and relevant stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 9 years of professional experience in Emiratisation or a similar role, with a strong understanding of UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of local labor market dynamics and trends related to Emiratisation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective talent development and retention programs.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills to measure the success and impact of Emiratisation initiatives.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to driving Emiratisation goals and targets.
