Job Purpose

The role is responsible for the supervision and execution of the civil works in cable installations and substation equipment installations.The role is responsible for the supervision and execution of the civil works in cable installations and substation equipment installations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Report to Site Supervisor, understand the project schedule and organize the works at site.
  • Monitor and Control the labour/Technicians force to extract optimum works output.
  • Guide labours/Technicians to work in line with the approved documents and drawings.
  • Set daily targets to Charge hands and labour team leaders as per the project schedule requirements
  • Prepare daily progress reports and Time sheets and submit to Site Engineer for review and approval
  • Communicate with the client / authorities at site level.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in English and Hindi
  • Coordination Skills
  • Leading technicians, chargehands
  • Knowledge of HSE related to site

 

Experience

  • Min. HSE, 3-5 years previous experience in same role

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Special Knowledge: Knowledge of reading basic drawing and schedules and using hand tools and machines required to perform the work effectively. Knowledge of general rules of safety to apply at work site.
  • Complexity of task: Routine
  • Discretion/Latitude: Works under general supervision. Follows established procedures; work is reviewed on continuous basis. Some latitude for independent judgment
  • Impact of results: Limited impact; failure to achieve results  make cause delay in program and/or schedules and may result in allocation of additional resources
  • Planning Horizon: Hourly/daily/weekly routine; technical tasks
