Job Purpose

The Group Marketing Operations Manager ensures the smooth, compliant, and efficient execution of marketing activities across the Group. The role focuses on optimising marketing workflows, enabling cross-functional coordination, and implementing governance frameworks in collaboration with Finance, Procurement, Legal, Group IT, Human Capital, and Group Audit.

The role is critical to maintaining operational discipline, budget control, risk management, and consistent delivery across Group and Company marketing teams.

Job Responsibilities

1. Marketing Operations & Workflow Management

  1. Coordinate marketing processes with Finance, Procurement, Legal, Group IT, Human Capital, and Group Audit to ensure clarity, efficiency, and timely execution.
  2. Ensure adherence to approved workflows, timelines, approval structures, and escalation paths.
  3. Act as the central coordination point to remove operational bottlenecks and enable effective execution.

2. Governance, Process & Compliance Enablement

  1. Ensure marketing activities comply with Group policies, brand governance frameworks, procurement standards, and approval protocols.
  2. Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), RACI matrices, and marketing governance documentation.
  3. Support Company marketing teams in meeting governance requirements while maintaining delivery timelines.

 

3. Budget & Resource Management

  1. Coordinate consolidated marketing budget planning, tracking, and reporting across Group companies.
  2. Monitor spend against approved budgets and flag variances, risks, or inefficiencies.
  3. Work closely with Finance on budget approvals, accruals, forecasting, and financial controls.

4. Vendor Pool & Agency Management

  1. Manage the Group-wide marketing vendor and agency pool in line with approved procurement frameworks.
  2. Coordinate RFP processes in collaboration with Procurement, Legal, and Finance.
  3. Ensure vendors operate within approved scopes, contracts, SLAs, and brand standards.
  4. Track vendor performance, compliance, and commercial effectiveness.

5. Project Management – Critical Executions & Events

  1. Lead operational project management for critical marketing initiatives, high-profile campaigns, and Group-level events.
  2. Develop project plans, timelines, dependencies, and risk mitigation measures.
  3. Coordinate stakeholders and act as the escalation point to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Job Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  1. UAE National
  2. 3–5 years of experience in marketing operations, project management, PMO, or business operations roles
  3. Experience working with Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, HR, and Audit functions
  4. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field
  5. Project management certification is an advantage

Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Track record of successful go-to-market strategy development and execution.
  • Experience in community building and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire and retain clients in competitive markets.

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing trends and industry-specific best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and market research.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative marketing solutions.
