Job Purpose

To manage and expand relationships with high-value corporate customers in the fleet, government, industrial, construction, and energy sectors. The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic account plans, and ensuring the delivery of technical product solutions across lubricants, batteries, filters, and other aftermarket consumables.

This role is critical to CTC’s institutional sales success by ensuring that high-potential clients receive tailored account management, technical support, and value-driven product solutions. The Key Account Manager is the frontline commercial representative delivering customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement customized account plans for each key customer.
  • Act as the single point of contact for assigned strategic accounts across UAE.
  • Maintain strong relationships with procurement, maintenance, and technical teams at client organizations.
  • Coordinate pricing proposals, tender submissions, and technical responses with internal teams.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets by product category and customer segment.
  • Support commercial and operational teams during contract implementation and delivery.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and customer satisfaction meetings.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand account value.
  • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product and pricing strategies.
  • Ensure CRM entries, pipeline tracking, and reporting are updated and accurate.

Job Purpose

To foster and expand relationships with key clients, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for developing strategic account plans, negotiating high-stakes contracts, and ensuring seamless coordination between the client and internal teams.

Job Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans
  • Monitor client performance and satisfaction levels

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key accounts
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals
  • Track and report on sales performance against targets

Relationship Building

  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with client decision-makers
  • Conduct regular business reviews and strategy sessions
  • Resolve client issues promptly and effectively

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and service teams to address client needs
  • Ensure smooth implementation of client projects and initiatives
  • Provide feedback to internal teams regarding client trends and market needs

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular performance reports and forecasts
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities
  • Adjust strategies based on performance data and client feedback

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in key account management or sales roles
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex accounts
  • Experience in B2B sales environments preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office tools
  • Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on customer success

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related technical/commercial field.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in key account management or technical B2B sales.
  • Experience working with fleet operators, construction firms, factories, government O&G entities and B2B .
  • Understanding of automotive and industrial consumables (Parts, lubricants, batteries, filters).

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent communication and relationship management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and sales closing ability.
  • Competence in CRM, sales reporting tools, and pipeline forecasting.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into product/service solutions.
  • Presentation, negotiation, and contract review capabilities.
