Job Purpose

The Parts Sales Manager main task is to work on an expansion strategy that includes current and future Parts sales per brands.

Control and coordinate overall activities of Parts Department by leading the growth strategy, driving sales performance while ensuring higher customer satisfaction as per principle guided standard.

To communicate and coordinate with different manufacturer (OEMs), principals, and also assumes Profit & Loss responsibility for the department ensuring targets and objectives are achieved

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for parts sales, aligned with brand-specific goals and market trends.
  • Identify growth opportunities within each brand's parts offerings and tailor sales approaches accordingly.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, contributing significantly to the overall revenue objectives of the organization.
  • Build and nurture a robust pipeline of prospective clients and drive the conversion of leads into sales.
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders within each brand.
  • Collaborate closely with brand representatives to understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide coaching and mentorship, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Utilize market insights to adjust sales strategies and seize emerging opportunities.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop and manage the parts sales budget.
  • Monitor expenses, ensure cost-effective operations, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the parts procurement team to ensure seamless coordination between parts sourcing and sales efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.
  • Assign the annual targets to respective brands and work with Aftermarket head to monitor continuously and take necessary proactive action in case of lags

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree preferably mechanical or Automobile engineer
  • Strong understanding of Commercial Vehicles parts and accessories.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Experience

  • [10+] years of proven experience in parts sales and aftermarket management, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
