Job Purpose

The People Experience Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of employee relations and driving a positive employee experience throughout the organization. This role ensures compliance with labor laws, oversees HR documentation in line with ISO standards and manages HR administrative processes. The manager also leads compliance efforts, manages investigations, and oversees the whistleblower policy and ethics framework, ensuring alignment with company values and legal requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Employee Relations:

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Ensure timely and fair resolution of employee disputes and conflicts to maintain a productive work environment.

People Experience:

  • Oversee the employee experience, from onboarding through to offboarding, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all employees.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and overall experience within the organization.
  • Manage HR administrative functions, including the preparation of employment letters, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Ensure a compliant of HR policies and processes.

Compliance and Ethics Management:

  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and internal HR policies, particularly in relation to employee relations, ethics, and documentation.
  • Oversee the company’s whistleblower policy, ensuring employees feel confident in reporting concerns safely and confidentially.
  • Promote a culture of integrity and ethical conduct across the organization through ongoing ethics management.
  • Regularly review and update policies to ensure alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices.

Investigations:

  • Lead and manage investigations into employee grievances, misconduct, policy violations, or ethical concerns.
  • Ensure investigations are conducted impartially, confidentially, and in a timely manner, adhering to organizational policies and legal standards.
  • Provide recommendations to management based on investigation outcomes, including disciplinary actions when necessary.

HR Documentation and Compliance:

  • Oversee employee records and ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality management processes.
  • Manage digital filing systems to ensure accurate, timely, and secure maintenance of employee records.
  • Prepare and distribute HR documents such as employment letters, certificates, and contracts.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR records to ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and ISO standards.

Quality Management and ISO Compliance:

  • Ensure that HR processes related to employee relations, documentation, and compliance are aligned with ISO standards and the organization’s quality management framework.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the HR department, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
  • Monitor and ensure consistency in HR documentation and filing practices to maintain compliance with both internal and external standards.

HR Policy and Process Development:

  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures, particularly in employee relations, compliance, ethics, and documentation management.
  • Ensure that HR policies are communicated effectively to employees and managers and that they are consistently applied across the organization.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Quality Management or Business Administration.

Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience in HR Compliance 
  • Experience in HR Generalist, Employee Relations or a related role
  • Experience in ISO certification

  • Ability to train on legal compliance subject matters and to adjust delivery of training and training materials to classroom situation and learners’ needs
