United Diesel is specialized in commercial vehicles and is the authorized distributor of Renault Trucks, Tata Motor, Buses and Trucks. It offers complete after Sales Services and provides innovative transport solutions.

Job Purpose

To manage facilities, workplace projects, contractor services, and facility-related compliance activities across United Diesel's offices, workshops, warehouses, and branch locations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations that support business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Facilities Management

    • Manage day-to-day facilities operations across offices, workshops, warehouses, and branches.
    • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
    • Conduct routine facility inspections and ensure timely resolution of issues.
    • Monitor housekeeping, building services, utilities, and workplace conditions.
    • Ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and fit for operational requirements.

     

    Projects & Renovations

    • Coordinate office and workshops renovation and any other assigned projects.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and contractor performance.
    • Liaise with consultants, landlords, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
    • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
    • Ensure projects are delivered safely and with minimal disruption to operations.

     

    Vendor & Contract Management

    • Manage facilities-related vendors and service providers.
    • Monitor contractor performance and service quality.
    • Review quotations and support vendor selection processes.
    • Ensure contractors comply with company policies and site requirements.

     

    HSE & Compliance Coordination

    • Support compliance with applicable UAE regulations and company policies.
    • Coordinate facility inspections, permits, certifications, and renewals.
    • Ensure facility-related HSE requirements are implemented.
    • Support emergency drills and workplace safety initiatives.
    • Coordinate closure of facility-related audit findings.

     

    Budget & Reporting

    • Monitor facilities and project expenditures against approved budgets.
    • Track service contracts and maintenance costs.
    • Prepare periodic reports on facilities, projects, compliance, and vendor performance.
    • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • 8–10 years of experience in facilities management, infrastructure management, workplace projects, or related operational functions.
  • Proven experience managing offices, workshops, warehouses, branch facilities, or multi-site operations.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering fit-outs, renovations, relocations, infrastructure upgrades, and capital improvement projects.
  • Strong experience in vendor management, contract administration, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Sound knowledge of UAE regulatory, HSE, environmental, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience within automotive, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, industrial, manufacturing, or logistics sectors is highly preferred.
