Job Purpose

Manage and expand the commercial tyre portfolio (TBR/OTR/Industrial) through end-user and fleet partnerships. Perform field sales duties, including customer visits and on-site technical evaluations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and visit prospective commercial, industrial, and fleet customers to present product solutions, share pricing and availability details, and highlight key performance advantages of TBR, OTR, and Industrial tyres.
  • Maximize sales performance by meeting or exceeding monthly and annual targets while ensuring high accuracy in sales forecasting.
  • Develop and expand a strong customer base, including opening new fleet and end‑user accounts and completing all required company administrative procedures.
  • Analyze large fleet portfolios to prioritize high‑potential accounts and drive planned business results.
  • Conduct market mapping and segment assessments for the commercial tyre category (TBR/OTR) to identify opportunities and gaps.
  • Execute structured weekly planning and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting through full CRM adoption and usage discipline.
  • Provide market intelligence to the Channel Manager, including updates on competitor products, pricing, distribution strategies, and marketing activities to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Gather and consolidate updated market insights, including sell‑in/sell‑out pricing, competitor conditions, services, and environmental factors affecting market dynamics.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Automobile/Rubber engineering would be preferable

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial tyre sector.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Product knowledge:- knowledgeable of aftermarket/ auto ancillary product 
  • Customer and Personal Service:- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction 
  • Sales and Marketing:- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Administration and Management:- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Critical Thinking:- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Coaching and Developing Others:-  identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills
  • Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work:-  Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish team work
  • Problem Solving:-  identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
