Job Purpose
Develop and maintain the Re-tread business of commercial segment Tyres (Truck & Bus ) through End Users/Fleet.
Manage the Technician and co-ordinate with GRS to maximize the Casing Collection and Re-tread to reach the desired target level of 5oo units per month.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement new business models that could expand retreading business and strengthen retread/new tire integration
- Visit prospective customer at commercial, industrial, or other establishments to show samples or catalogs, and to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages
- Maximize sales, meet/exceed targets and significantly improve forecast accuracy
- Develop strong network and customer base for Retread business. Open new customer’s account fulfilling necessary administrative requirements of company
- Analyse large fleet portfolio and select the accounts to reach the planned result
- Conduct the market mapping and assessment of Commercial Segment (TBR & Re-tread Tyres)
- Audit GAR's, and create action plans for improving production quality and effectiveness
- Monitor and report trends & influences and new customer business models
- Coordinate Commercial Production Biz Unit team in all activities related with retread sales & marketing
- Mobilizing the team to improve casing collection for Re-tread business
- Monitor the Technical Team including Casing (Re-tread) collector to improve their performance in giving service to End user
- Control the tyre service project cost by monitoring performance of the tyre and technicians, report the deviation to take necessary precautionary measure to control the deviation
- Provide sales status reports (daily, weekly, monthly) as may be required by the Sales Manager to ensure necessary actions are taken
- Provide feedback to Sales Manager on market conditions, competitive products, policies, distribution activities, advertising initiatives, etc., that will aid decisions on sales strategies in his area
- Ensure cost effective logistic in coordination with client, casing collection and production facility
- Consolidate updated market information (SI/SO competitors’ price, conditions, products, services, environment…etc.)
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- Automobile/Rubber engineering would be preferable
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a manager in the automotive sector; experience of managing sales operation would be an added advantage
Knowledge & Skills
- Product knowledge:- knowledgeable of aftermarket/ auto ancillary product
- Customer and Personal Service:- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Sales and Marketing:- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Administration and Management:- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Critical Thinking:- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Coaching and Developing Others:- identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills
- Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work:- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish team work
- Problem Solving:- identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
